Abbey is the owner and curator of Milkweeds. She is a mindful stylist that puts the hair’s integrity first and enjoys working with all people and individuals. Specializing in haircutting, she works well with natural patterns, textures and movements. A light handed colorist with a focus in grey blending, lived in foiling and soft pops of vivids. Abbey has a passion for longevity in her work and helping her guest lean into their natural texture. Holding space for every person that walks through the door is what Milkweeds is all about.

Emily is an Independent hairstylist running her business, Transformations by Em, located within Milkweeds. She accomplishes her goal in having you leave her chair feeling like you can live life with beautiful hair, instead of feeling restrained to maintaining it. Emily specializes in reds, lived in color and being your ultimate hype girl. Offering services for all genders, individuals, there is a place for everyone in her chair.

Arianna
Arianna (Air-ee-ah-na) is a Board Certified Colorist with hair coloring knowledge equivalent to a PHD, and one of three in the state of Connecticut. Specializing in color, Arianna enjoys creating colors that range from bold fashion tones/vivids to soft brunettes, and everything in between. Even though she specializes in color, she still has an avid thirst for cutting hair, especially razored shags and cuts that show off a clients new color placement. Arianna believes that every guest deserves the proper time and attention needed to create their end game hair goals, while also maintaining the quality and integrity of the hair. She prides herself on being an excellent listener behind the chair, and works with her guests to find the best solutions, styles, and colors for their texture and type.
